Katy and Jordon were inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and wanted their wedding to revolve around the organic nature of the falls and backdrop found at the Salish Lodge in Snoqualmie, WA. Jordon, the groom, grew up in Seattle and later moved to California where he met the bride, Katy. On one of their first dates, Jordon brought Katy to Washington for a weekend getaway so it only made sense to create an experience for their guests that was true to the beginning of their love story in a place they both were so fond of. The couple worked with their wedding designer to plan and design each detail, drawing inspiration from the colors, smells, textures, and ambiance found around the venue. Mixing the steel blues and emerald greens with classic hues of Blush and gold that Katy loved to bring out a feminine romantic feeling as well.
