I've dreamed of becoming a photographer since I was 12, and even though there were some reroutes on the way, I'm so grateful for that teenage dream to come true! Looking back, it seems meant to be!
Photography allowed me to witness some truly incredible moments! I get to share the most joyous, intimate, and special events reserved for only the closest people in your life. Furthermore, I get to create a window into the past for you and future generations to cherish. Our brains can be unreliable, but a photograph can bring the most faded memory to life. It lets us experience not only how a moment in time looked but also how it felt!
When you look back at your photos years from now, I want you to be able to relive that memory! Life can take some unexpected twists and turns, but being able to recall and savor those happy moments enables us to reevaluate and anchor. It allows us to remember what's important in life.
As a photographer, I always aim for a holistic and mindful approach. I strive to create genuine, artistic, dynamic, and flattering documentation of you! I will always take great care of moving you into the best light and creating a beautiful composition in my frame, but I will also make sure you look and feel your best!
A photo can be beautifully lit and composed, but it will only become a family heirloom if you love the way you look in it! A great photograph has to have it all! I will come and smooth your flyaways, fix your strap, and, if needed, adjust your posture and the bend of your arm with the intention of always making you look and feel your best! I will art direct the scene, but I will also allow some space for the beautiful unscripted moments to unfold!
Documenting wedding celebrations is all about balance for me; it's about getting very close while also knowing when to step back.
My main objective is to create photographs that feel timeless, true-to-life, and bright. I want your wedding gallery to stand the test of time. To achieve that ageless, nostalgic visual effect, I use film and digital mediums in my work. My color correction and editing are fairly minimal, but I always strive to create cohesive galleries and pay close attention to details when editing!
