I’d had this idea kicking around in my head for a while. It wasn’t even fully formed, but I just had a feeling that I had to flesh this out. I wanted to create inspirational photographs for brides who love that Anthropology vibe, lots of greenery, lace, and gold accents! Even though I love shooting outdoors, I really wanted to have more of a studio look for this session so that brides-to-be could focus on learning about how to achieve that style when selecting their dress and making big wedding design decisions.
I was so busy at that point since wedding season was already in full swing, but one day, I walked into The Dress Theory’s Seattle boutique to check out the dresses and meet all the amazing ladies from behind the scenes. Then it hit me. This was the perfect space! White walls, minimalist design, great natural light, and huge Anthropology mirrors.
Once that was nailed down, I reached out to some other talented vendors and this vision came to life. It turned out to be different than I pictured, but that’s the beauty of the creative process. It can sometimes take you places you never expected to go.
Thanks to an amazing team:
