As some of you might already know, we’ve recently traveled to Europe and visited Amsterdam & Bruges. I absolutely fell in love with both cities, they have such unique atmospheres!
We stayed in Amsterdam for 5 days and it was an absolute blast! This city is full of cute little alleys, canals, stylish people in coats, and, of course, bicycles! Sure thing I’ve heard about how many bicycles are in Amsterdam, but boy!!! I don’t think I could’ve ever imagined that many of them 🙂 This city is super walkable and every morning we were taking a tram to someplace downtown and just exploring from there. We also had a few must-sees, like the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank House, that I would recommend visiting anyone who is in Amsterdam. Another museum we didn’t plan visiting, but stumbled on and decided to check out was Moco Museum which had Banksy’s exhibition at the time. My hubs is not much of a museum guy but he enjoyed this one a lot!
Bonus pic of me playing captain and being sassy at the National Maritime Museum 🙂
After spending 5 wonderful days in Amsterdam, we took a bus to Bruges. It had such a different vibe! It was like getting into a gothic fairytale with carriages, bell towers, cobblestone roads, and brick churches! Absolutely beautiful and picture perfect place! Even though Bruges is extremely touristy, time there moves very slowly. We spent a lot of time walking and sitting in cute little cafes with a glass of wine or hot cocoa.
